ITG ProFilter, Performance air filter for the Defender 300TDI.
The main benefit of fitting a performance air filter is to allow a less restrictive airflow into the engine, whilst still being extremely effective at capturing fine particles. The greater surface area of the foam air filter, means there is several times higher dust retention capacity. As a normal air filter will start to blind, and become more restrictive, the foam filter continues to flow as well as a clean filter standard filter, for much longer. This is key to providing a more efficient, and hence more powerful engine, as a greater amount of air will be available for combustion.
Installing this ITG Air Filter may slightly increase induction noise.
