Alive exhaust systems are made entirely from heavy gauge 304 grade stainless steel, using the optimal size, 2 1/2 inch diameter tubing, mandrel bent to maintain peak exhaust gas velocity, and to effectively remove gasses, heat, and unwanted cabin noise. This opens up to a beautiful 3" polished tail section, with rolled end. PLEASE NOTE: This ALIVE Exhaust System does not come with a replacement downpipe section, as Td5 Models from 1998 to 2001 (up to 1A Chassis Number) do not have a diesel oxidation catalyst. Owners of later model Td5 (from 2A chassis number) can fit our uprated High Flow Downpipe Section with this exhaust. (Available seperately). Installing this exhaust to the late model OEM downpipe sections, will cause a reduction to the potential gains in sound and performance otherwise seen when fitted with our matching high flow down pipe section.
